DOME’s prepress department has an average tenure of 10 years – each member with approximately 15 years of industry knowledge and prepress experience. • Computer-to-plate thermal imaging device.
  Thermal technology generates the sharpest dot possible to be reproduced on a printing plate.

	Historically, print industry specifications have not kept pace with technology advances. But over the past two years, expert research based on digital imaging, spectrophotometry, and computer-to-plate technologies has produced new state-of-the-art process controls – G7 Methodology – that turns printing from an art to a science, once and for all!

• Epson 9880
  The Epson 9880 incorporates new technology that produces color proofs with a color gamut that closely matches what the presses can achieve. PMS colors are simulated using a seven color printing technology.

• Canon and Hewlett Packard Ink Jet Proofers
  Ink jet imaging on paper in either black and white or full color allows us to proof the content of the complete signature printed two sides, as it will be produced.

• Kodak InSite Server for FTP and Soft Proofing
  We are equipped to receive files by way of the internet using InSite, a secure web based system that not only allows for file transfer but soft proofing. The proofing systems sports high resolution PDFs for your review with the capability to view the proof with your Dome representative or other members of your team at the same time. Notes can be made on the PDF and your corrected pages can be returned to InSite for additional proofing.
