Essential Ingredients:

3 Cups  Rolled Oats

1-1 ½ Cups  Nuts (pecans, almonds, hazelnuts or walnuts)

½ to ¾ Cup Sweetener (maple syrup, honey or agave)

¼ to ½ Cup Oil (canola, grapeseed or extra virgin olive oil)

1 tsp kosher salt

Less Essential Ingredients (but this is what makes it your BEST):

1 to 2 Cups Seeds, mix raw seeds and they’ll toast while baking. (pumpkin, sunflower, flax or sesame)

1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut flakes or “chips”

1 Cup Dried Fruit (add after baking) (raisins, craisins, dried apricots, dried pineapple, etc.)

1 tsp Spice (cinnamon, ginger or pumpkin pie spice)

For chunky granola add 1 beaten egg white

How to mix and bake:

Measure all dry ingredients and spices together in a large bowl. Add sweetener,

oil and egg white (if using). Stir, stir and stir.  Spread out on to a large baking sheet with deeper edges.

I line the sheet with parchment paper, makes it easier to get out of the pan!

Bake at 300 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until toasty brown. Give it a stir after 20 minutes.

Cool completely in pan, then store in an airtight container.
