DOME reaches out to the community at Capital Cup 2016
..The Capital Cup adapts the historic Ryder Cup format– steeped in tradition, to promote community pride, healthy competition, and raise money for the Sacramento region’s most deserving charities. 24 executive leaders from the Sacramento region have been divided into two Capital Cup teams. In this exciting 3-day golf competition, donors will have the opportunity to support their favorite player (or their favorite charity), as each player is competing to benefit his or her favorite charitable organization.DOME’s Owner/Partner, Tim Poole joined the Capital Cup last year and his team was successful in winning the challenge. This resulted in Tim’s chosen organization, the Alzheimer’s Association, being presented with a $17,978 check! The capital cup allows each player to raise money that goes directly to his/her designated charity. In addition, charities supported by the winning team members will also share a $50,000 Grand Prize! Here is Tim’s personal message regarding the Capital Cup and his chosen charity:

It was exciting winning last year’s challenge and being able to present the Alzheimer’s Association with a check for $17,978! This year I am just as committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer’s. We need to advance research into methods of treatment, prevention, and ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer’s.

There are many reasons and many ways to support. On September 30 – October 2, I am competing in a fantastic golf competition called the Capital Cup. This event will raise funds to assist the Alzheimer’s Association and numerous other worthy non-profits in fulfilling their mission to offer care, education, support and resources.

Not only will I be raising funds directly to the Association by asking you to sponsor me, but WHEN our team wins, my charity will receive a share of the $50,000 grand prize!

Please consider making a contribution to my efforts and for every $2,500 I raise, I earn a much needed mulligan for the tournament. If you have seen me play, you know I need all the mulligans I can get!
